Local image processing
HEIC.AI converts images inside your browser. The application does not upload your selected image files or converted results to our servers. Files remain on your device unless you choose to share them elsewhere.
Metadata
Converted JPG, PNG, and WebP files are re-encoded without the source image's EXIF metadata, including embedded location and camera details. Keep the original file if you need that information.
Technical data
Our hosting provider may receive standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps for security and service operation. This request data does not include the image files you process locally.
Local session data
The converter keeps selected files and results only in the current browser session. Refreshing or closing the page clears that working state. HEIC.AI does not require an account or advertising cookies.

We may update this policy when the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
